Service Description

When choosing Horizon Legal Group to assist with your estate planning needs, the first step is to sit down with one of our experienced estate planning lawyers, and discuss your intentions for your estate, your family circumstances and your current asset position. We will identify if there are any legal obstacles to achieving the outcome that you wish, and craft any strategies with you to help overcome or reduce the impact of those obstacles where possible. The result is a carefully constructed estate plan to give you confidence that your wishes will be followed, and peace of mind to know your family can enact your wishes without any hassles. Once you’ve agreed on the strategy for your estate, we will create the documents to give effect to the plan, and once they’re ready we will meet with you again to discuss and sign your documents, usually 1-2 weeks later (though 48-hour turnaround may be arranged for urgent situations).
